Admission For Foreign Students
Foreign students are invited to apply for enrolling in following four (4) years bachelor degrees at IIAST affiliated by University of Rajshahi
Eligibility
(1) Applicants must possess Non-Bangladeshi nationality.
(2) Applicants must have completed a standard 12-year course curriculum outside Bangladesh before the enrollment at IIAST.
(3) Applicants must pass the standard school certificate examinations having at least 60% marks or equivalent grades.
(4) Applicants must apply within 2-years from the date of completion of the standard 12-year course curriculum (Maximum break of study is 2-years).
(5) Applicants must have at least 60% marks or equivalent grades in each examination (O level and A level or equivalent diplomas)
(6) Applicants should have sufficient English proficiency to understand lectures at the IIAST during the undergraduate program.
Fees
(1) There is no application processing fee.
(2) Admission Fees: USD 150 one time for applicants of SAARC member countries and African countries, and USD 200 one time for applicants of other countries.
(3) Accommodation fees are subjected to types of accomodation arranged by the institute.
Students have to pay the following fees at the time of admission (or re-admission) in a particular year.
For Admission: 150 – 200 USD (one time)
Registration Fee: 50 USD (one time)
Tuition Fee: 50 USD/Month (For 8 semesters= 48 months)
Examination Fee: about 20 USD/semester
Required Documents for Provisional Admission
(1) Complete Application Form.
(2) Photocopies of original certificates and transcripts of all the standard school certificate examinations. If the original certificates and transcripts are not written in English, then the applicant must also submit the official English translation of the academic records.
(3) Photocopy of the valid passport showing the name, photo, nationality and the passport number of the applicant.
(4) Two copies of passport-size color photographs of the applicant taken within 3 months.
Application Submission for Provisional Admission
(1) Applicants can submit all the required documents for provisional admission directly to the Principal, International Institute of Applied Science and Technology, Rangpur, Bangladesh within the application submission deadline by guaranteed postal service. Applicants should submit a softcopy/scanned version of the completed application form (passport-size color photograph attached to it) together with the softcopy/scanned version of all the required supporting documents to the e-mail address: iiast.info@gmail.com within the application submission deadline.
(2) Applicant who will apply for admission to the concerned Embassy or Ministry of the government of Bangladesh should submit a copy of their same set of application to the Principal, International Institute of Applied Science and Technology, Rangpur, guaranteed postal service, and a softcopy/scanned version of the completed application form (passport-size color photograph attached to it) together with the softcopy/scanned version of all the required supporting documents to the e-mail address: iiast.info@gmail.com for advanced evaluation for provisional admission.
Final Admission
Upon obtaining provisional admission, the applicants must obtain N.O.C/ Clearance certificate from the Ministry of Home Affairs, Bangladesh. The applicants must have to submit the above mentioned document together with all the original certificates and transcripts for verification to the application evaluation committee. After verification of all the submitted documents by the application evaluation committee, the Institute authority will give final admission to the successful applicants.
