The International Institute of Applied Science and Technology (IIAST) established in 2015, is a higher education and research organization affiliated by University of Rajshahi. The institute is aimed to provide education and research at international standard in the field of applied science and technology. The institute is currently offering 4 programs at undergraduate level (4 years BSc Honours) under 4 departments; Departments of Food and Nutritional Science, Department of Microbiology, Department of Fisheries and Department of Agriculture. The offered courses are B.Sc. (Hons) in Food and Nutritional Science, B.Sc. (Hons) in Microbiology, B.Sc. (Hons) in Fisheries and B.Sc. (Hons) in Agriculture. The medium of instruction for the courses is English.
MOU between TUFTS University, USA and IIAST, Rangpur
The International Institute of Applied Science and Technology (IIAST), Rangpur, Bangladesh and Cummings School of Veterinary Medicine at Tufts University (“Tufts”), USA hereby enter into this General Agreement to foster international cooperation in education and research. The agreement includes: Exchange of Student, Exchange of Teachers and Research Collaboration. The agreement is officially signed at the office of the Dean in USA. Prof. Dr. Joyce S. Knoll (Dean, Cummings School of Veterinary Medicine of Tufts University, USA) and Prof. Dr. Shahiduzzaman (Chairman, Governing Body of IIAST, Rangpur, Bangladesh) singed on behalf of respective institution.For details news click here
